Happy New Year of the Rat!

Happy chinese new year! I hope this year is good to all my family and friends, near and far.

We went to two different parties for Chinese New Year. You wouldn't think here in the middle of New England that there would be so many Chinese related events! But I am lucky because we have the Families with Children from China group, which has many wonderful families, and also the Dartmouth Association Organization, DAO Pals. My big pal, Flo, was at both events, and we had soooooooo much fun!

I got a new red dress for the new year.

....until this big lion came out! Too scary! I was all better though when mama picked me up and we watched from the sidelines....

Then they passed out the lei sees...

Flo helped me get in line to get my lei see and I was really happy when I opened it up to see what was inside.
