Happy Thanksgiving! I am thankful for...

..a loving family.

I was so excited on Halloween because not only did I see pumpkins and get to be a pumpkin, but my family came that day, all the way from California, to visit me! Everybody wore funny costumes and I even won the pre-school category at the General Store Costume Contest. Here are some pictures of me and my family during their visit. It was so much fun having them here!
giving my favorite Uncle Edwin a one-two punch!
Me and my pretty "senorita" Aunt Ginger.
Uncle Edwin & Auntie Sharon as Micky and Minnie!
Even my Por-Por and Goong-Goong got into the Halloween spirit!

A favorite time, playing at the playground!

Even my cousins Mark and Snookie came all the way from PA!

...great friends.

I turned two on November 5th, so I got to have some friends and family over to celebrate. I wore a pretty dress that my Great Auntie Lillian gave me and we set up my little tables and chairs for us to sit at. It sure was fun having so many people that I love in the house. But now that everybody is gone and it's kind of quiet in the house, I still have my best buddie, Elmo, to keep me company. Here are some snaps of me and my friends.

Me in my special birthday dress. Thanks, Auntie Lillian and Cousin Lizette!
Friends at my birthday party...
My best friend, Elmo.
Me and Lea, my orphanage pal, at recent reunion party.

...the security of my forever family.

My forever family is official! We took the final step in the adoption process, which is to have the U.S. Courts "Re-Validate the Foreign Adoption". The judge was nice, he let us take pictures of his courtroom and he even let me go into his office! My mama and dada tell me every day how lucky they are that we are all together now. I wish they could understand my babbling, because I've been telling them how lucky I feel and how happy I am......

Official signing.
It feels good to be really, truly, completely offical!

...never being hungry.

Birthday cake is one of my favorite foods.

Wow, my dada and mama made a beautiful turkey dinner for us. Yummy!

..my good health.
I got a good report at my 2 year old checkup. My doctor says I'm growing well and that she loves my sense of curiosity. Here's some shots of me at my appointment.
Hi doctor, come on into your exam room!

Hmmmmm...who's examining who?

I want to weight and measure myself!

Happy Thanksgiving everybody. We hope you had a great holiday. Thanks for watching my blog. I'll try to write again before Christmas......

Love,

Hui-Hui (and mama and dada say hi too!)
