Hi everybody! The October weather has been as amazing as the many outings and friends I've made and renewed this month.
Me, mama and dada took a nice folliage drive in Vermont one weekend. We had a fun stop at the Vermont Country Store, which has a lot of stuff mama says is "nostalgia", whatever that is. Here is a picture that dada took of me and my mama in front of the store.
My friend Lea!
My orphanage mate, Lea, and her mommy and daddy came to visit us a couple of weekends ago. I think I remember her, but even if I didn't, we sure got along good. Here are some pictures of us enjoying each others company. I sure was sad when Lea left.....

I shared my sandbox pretty well with Lea.....
We enjoyed watching the video of our time in China with our mommies and daddies......

Here I am with my pal, Lea....

Good bye, Lea....please come back soon....
I have a big DAO pal!
The Dartmouth Asian Organization has a program that matches students with kids who are interested in learning about asian culture. They're called big DAO pals and we're called little pals. I went to my first event last Sunday and I met my big pal, Flo. Flo is a freshman and she's a little homesick for her parents, who live in New Jersey. But I think I helped her forget about that for at least a little while. Flo and I ate fishie crackers, juice, played in the student lounge and I learned about foosball. Not too much about asian culture this time, except Flo is chinese like me. I sure had a good time. Here are some pictures of me and my new big pal.

I sure had a good time...but I think I pooped Flo out!
Fun at the playground!
When I first came home in June, I didn't like the playground very much. Last week my dada took me to the playground and boy, was it fun! I got to go down the slide all by myself. Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee........

It's fun just sitting up here....

I'm thinking about it.....

Oh, oh, ohhhhh, letting go alittle bit.....

Whoa...letting go more.....
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
Pumpkin and Antique Shopping..doesn't get any better!

Last weekend we had fun going to a pumpkin patch. Some are pretty but some are funny looking!
Dada caught me picking up the one that was my favorite.
We stopped at an antique shop and I feel in love with a "just-my-size" white wicker chair. I was so excited that my dada bought it for me.
This picture captures how excited I was.....
Well, I guess that's about it for now. I'm counting the days to see my family. It won't be long.
Thanks for watching my blog.
With love,
Hui-Hui

Wow Hui-Hui -- You are getting so big and doing so many "big girl" things. I love your pumpkin and your new chair. Can't wait to see you in your chair in person (just six more days!!!!). You really look like you are having fun at the park on the slide. I'm glad you got to meet two new friends and you look like you are having fun.
See you soon.
Love,
