What could be better than a Florida vacation?

....a Florida vacation adoption reunion!

Me, mama and dada were so excited to head south for a few days at the end of February. Winter has been pretty cold and snowy, so the thought of some sunshine and warm weather was sure welcome. And for icing on the cake, we were going down to reunite with my two orphanage mates, Lily and Lea, and their families.

I have told mama to be sure to get me my own frequent flyer cards because I really am starting to like traveling. Here I am studying up on the emergency information before take-off. You can never be too prepared.....

We stayed in a hotel the first night. I like hotels because they have TV! Here I am totally mesmerized...

Come on dada, I'm ready to go!

The next day we drove from Tampa to Fort Myers, where we reunited with my friends. What a great time we had, right from the start.

The first day we went on a hike on a boardwalk trail. Here's a picture of me and Lea on our walk.

The second day we went to the Shell Museum, had a picnic and went to the beach.

Here I am in the fun kid section of the museum.

My friends look tough but they really aren't......

Here I am with my dada at the picnic.

It was my first time to the beach, so I was a little tentative at first. I did finally get into it just as we are about to go.

Lily and Lea are experienced beachcombers so they dig in right away.

We end the reunion with a dinner at a Fort Myers Crabhouse. Here's the three of us, belting back ice cold milk! Cheers!

A final shot of all of us, inclduing Lily's really neat brother and sister, Matt and Taylor.

We had such a wonderful time. Our mamas and dadas have vowed to get us together again real soon. I'm counting on it...I miss my friends already.

Thanks for watching the blog. Next entry: Easter vacation in another sunny spot, California!

Love you,
Hui-Hui

Hi Hui-Hui - Looks like you had a GREAT time in Florida (wasn't it nice to see sunshine instead of snow?). You are turning into quite the little traveler ... do you have enough miles for a free ticket yet?

We miss you!!!! We will see you soon. Keep the blog entries coming!!!

Love,
Auntie Sharon
