Happy New Year, everybody! Mommy has been trying to get the holiday pictures in order to do a big holiday or "2009 year-in-review" movie. Well, I couldn't wait anymore. I wanted to be sure I got to say happy new year before the year wasn't so new anymore.
Our California Christmas vacation in the 2nd half of December was the absolute best! As you know, I love being with my family and it was hard to leave. Christmas was especially fun this year because my 1st cousin once removed, Jaden, is walking and talking up a storm. We had a great time together. Mommy is still going through Daddy's 600 plus pictures, so watch for a movie recapping the holidays, hopefully in a not-too-far-in-the-future post.
I've had a great start to 2010. We celebrated new year's eve with my best friend, Emma, and her mommy and daddy and other friends. Because we're big girls now (we're both 4), we got to stay up past midnight and blow horns, watch sparklers and dance & sing. We had a great time.
Party Animal.
2 Peas in a Pod.

We've had some pretty good snow so far this year, which has made everything look like the north pole (where santa lives!). But brrrrrrr, it's been cold too!

My typical winter outfit. "Mommy, I can't move...."
This past weekend, we got to go on a real sleigh ride at Billings Farm & Museum, a working dairy farm in Woodstock, VT. It was fun to bundle up, get cozy under a big blankey and have the big horsies give us a ride! I also got to get up close to the big and baby cows, even one that was just born the day before. So cute.
We've got a packed next few weeks. In addition to my usual preschool and dancing, we've got 2 chinese new year parties and we start up Dartmouth Asian Organization (DAO) Big Pals program again. If mommy and daddy can juggle it all, they'll post pics and an update from those events shortly.
Until then, have a great rest of January and thanks for following along. It'll be spring before you know it!
Love,
Hui-Hui
