I'm "Free Years Old"!

I turned 3 on November 5 and have pretty much been celebrating ever since! But wait, I'm getting ahead of myself, I don't think I got to tell you about my fun Halloween. Let me do that first.

I started Halloween out at Nursery School, where we had a fun morning of making pumpkins, practicing trick-or-treat, and starting a tradition of sliding into fall leaves!

Here I am getting ready to "trick or treat"...

A new tradition: sliding into a big pile of fall leaves! Woohoo, what fun!

Then later that day, Emma came to Cornish and we went to the General Store costume contest and parade before doing some trick-or-treating. We didn't win the costume contest this year but we still had a ball. It sure was a lot of fun doing Halloween with my best friend Emma but I did miss my Por-Por, Goong, Aunties and Uncle.....but they promise they'll be here next year.

I decided to be a COW and I got a lot of compliments on my puffy cow coat and makeup.

Here's some shots from our fun Halloween!

Me and my best Emma.

Back at home, we relax with Mommy after some vigorous trick-or-treating!

My 3rd birthday progressive celebration
I really lucked out getting to celebrate my 3rd birthday a few times over. Mommy brought ice cream and cookies to my daycare "schoo" and it was a big hit. For preschool, she made little goodie bags for me to give out to all of my friends and we had cookies and fruit for snack. If that wasn't enough, I had a birthday party at our house with my good friends. It was a mega play-a-thon and we all had a great time, though mommy and daddy aren't quite sure the house will ever be the same (daddy said he didn't even know I had that many toys in my room!). Things are kind of getting back to normal but the glow of my celebration is still burning..... THANKS EVERYBODY for making my 3rd birthday so special!

My daycare is decorated for my birthday!

Here's some birthday pictures and a new Flip movie. You'll see in the movie that I'm really practicing my singing skills! Enjoy!
We eat the yummy mum-mum that mommy and daddy made for the party (tomato beef chow mein for long life!)

We took a break from playing dress-up to have birthday cake...

Our own version of the "red couch photo" - - what a great party!

On my birthday, just me, mommy and daddy celebrate with cake, ice cream and song!

The holidays are right around the corner so mommy might be a little consumed by that, but she promises to try to blog between Thanksgiving and Christmas to share our holiday activities.

That's it for now. Hope you enjoyed my Halloween and birthday pictures and movies! Love you all. Thanks for following along.

Love,

Hui-Hui (and M & D too)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HUI-HUI!!!! I love your singing (I especially like the big ... little ... part). You are growing so fast - it must be that 16 degree weather back in Cornish. Can't wait to see you in a few weeks.

Love,
Auntie Sharon

P.S. I never knew they had a cow in "Kiss". hahaha.
