Summer is going sooo fast!

I can't believe how fast this month has gone. August has been fun-filled, with lots of outdoor playing at daycare (in spite of the wet weather) , splashing mommy and daddy in our backyard play pool, going to swim lessons, seeing friends and going to the town fair.

Summer "Picnic" with friends
Our long planned for summer picnic was redirected to the local Montshire Science museum when the August rains decided it just didn't want to stop! It didn't matter...we had a great time at the museum (we got an annual pass so we can go back as many times as we want now!) and then enjoyed pizza and ice cream together.

I enjoyed the many exhibits, especially the ones where the balls flew up in the air!

The best part was being with my friends!

Cornish Fair
Last year when I went to the Cornish Fair, I really didn't like the animals. Well, this year, I really didn't like the animals. But I did like eating dinner al fresco, boogie-ing to the country music and going on some rides.
Here I am eating cole slaw with fierce determination. I'm very good with utensils when I'm motivated!
I get down with the country music!

I get to pick any duck to win a chance at a small, medium or large prize.....
....uhhhhh, was there a category for "teeny-weeny" prize?? It still makes me smile.

Then we went to the Midway and I got to go on some rides. Wheeeee, fun stuff!

Me and mommy go on a fast car ride....mommy feels a little dizzy afterwards but I'm fine...

I love the merry-go-round so much, I go on twice!
Summertime and going to the fair would be incomplete without a creamee!

THIS makes me happy!

Well, that's it for now. Even though the weather is already getting cooler, mommy and daddy promise we'll still do fun summertime things as long as we can. Watch for future blogs on my first day at toddler pre-school and going to "Storyland'.
Love you all,
Hui-Hui

Hi Hui-Hui -- What a fun time at the fair!!!! I am glad that you are wearing a ponytail when you are eating your creamee (hair with ice cream in it isn't very comfortable -- it gets stuck together). Looks like your museum is a lot of fun. Maybe we can visit when Uncle Edwin & I come for a visit. See you soon.

Miss you lots.
